GWLT August Board Guided Hike | Cascades with Mike Peckar

Join board member Mike Peckar for a pleasant hike at the Cascades on Saturday, August 9.

The gem of Worcester (during times of heavy rain), the Cascades is one of the 10 properties that the city hoped to protect in their “1996 Top Ten List”. Towering pines at the top of the hill, along with examples of glacial erratics.

The hike is rated as challenging due to the grade/slope towards the beginning of the hike. A hiking stick may be useful.

Please park at Cascading Waters, located at 135 Olean St. Note: If you are using Google Maps to get there, you must put "Cascading Waters" as the destination, otherwise, you will end up at the wrong place.
